This Suite for full orchestra is adaptated from Alexis Savelief's music composed for the classic silent film "Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror" by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau. His original score, running for an hour and a half and played live with the film, is here condensed and orchestrated for a larger ensemble, in order to present the main thematic elements outside the film.
“Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror” is going to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2022! Don’t miss the centenary trailer! www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYhnozk1Smk
